Fellow Fox Trotters

It was sure nice getting together Friday evening at the Nick Cox Ride in Bastrop. The meal was enjoyed by all and the young lady entertained us with songs requested by our "trotters." Special thanks to Jimmy and Peggy Christmas and Buddy and Donna Savage for putting it all together and to all who brought desserts. The weather was in question much of the week but we still had a good attendance and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Our meeting at Sullivan Stables in Winnsboro is this weekend, Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd. We will have food, entertainment, and a short business meeting Friday evening. We welcome you anytime and we will have horses for riding, bring your saddle, or your own horse. Some of you may want to ride Friday afternoon before the get together. We will have a "St Jude" Ride Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. with lunch to follow. We'll have a drawing for prizes Saturday at noon.

Please bring your chairs and your appetite because Jimmy and Felix are going to provide the main course. All desserts are always welcome. The meal will be served around 7:00 or so. Hope to see you there.
