December 2009

It seems like only yesterday we were saying Happy New Year. Time flies when you're having fun and 2009 has certainly been a fun year. Times are "trying" for so many but God, good health, friends and family make life so much better. Let us all remember all those with problems and loved ones serving in our military. Please remember all our military and their families with a special prayer over the holidays.

When speaking of good times, we had a real good time at the Nick Cox ride in Bastrop. Even with bad weather we had about 45 people, good food, and fellowship as well as excellent entertainment by Jamie Lynn. A lot of work goes into preparing for these events and we certainly thank Jimmy and Peggy, Buddy and Donna, and all those in Bastrop who helped make this possible.

We are planning a minimum of four "get togethers" consisting of trail rides and play days in 2010. We hope to have a "special play day" or show (provided we can generate enough interest) in the Bastrop arena once it is open. Specific details will be coming during the year on dates and type of events.
